Donald W. Smith is a security analyst/portfolio manager at Turner Investment Partners. He covers stocks in the cyclical sector.  Mr. Smith is co-manager for Turner's global and international equity strategies.  He joined Turner in 2003 and has twelve years of investment experience.

Prior to joining Turner Investment Partners, Mr. Smith was employed with Delaware Investment Advisors, David L. Babson & Co. Inc., Polaris Service, and Miller Anderson & Sherrerd, LLP.  Mr. Smith was also a member of the US National Rowing Team (1991, 1993-6, 1999-2000) and competed in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics.

Mr. Smith received his MBA in business administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in operations management from Syracuse University. He is also a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society of Philadelphia.
